The sound of waves greets you as you have been taken to a place you do not know. This strange gate has brought you here. The scent of salt and wood lingers in the air, mingled with the faint hum of distant voices. The world seems calm, as if it were holding its breath.
Travellers speak of mines where shadows move even when no torches burn, and of strange, goblin-like creatures haunting the wilds beyond. Some say the land itself remembers what was buried beneath it long ago.
Yet here, where the sea meets the unknown, new beginnings are born. Perhaps fate has brought you here for a reason.
After all, you have made your choice. You know there is no turning back now. Time will test your strength, your courage, and your will. And, in the end, only time will reveal who you were really meant to be.

We have developed a new tutorial and introduced Newhaven, an entirely new beginner's island, to make starting out in Tibia easier and more enjoyable.
This update will also include changes affecting all Tibia players and will be released in the coming weeks.
Here is an overview of the most important changes that will be coming to Tibia with the new game entry:
Game Entry Process
A redesigned linear tutorial introduces new players to Tibia, and Dawnport is replaced by a new area called Newhaven.
Players can no longer change their vocation after making their initial choice or return to Newhaven once they have left it.
NPC Dialogue Interface
When talking to an NPC, a new interface now opens within the game window, making interactions more convenient and intuitive, while the keyword-based communication system remains unchanged.
NPC Info Icons
Important NPCs such as vendors, bankers, and transport providers now display a small optional icon above their head in the game window to indicate their function.
Info Banner
Certain milestones, such as level-ups are now shown in a banner within the game window, and for players up to level 20, additional game hints are displayed. The banner is enabled by default but can be disabled via settings.
Adjustments to Existing Systems
For casters, mana costs of auto-attacks have been reduced, and paladins receive more arrows through Arrow Call.
The range difficulty system has been simplified. In this context, lower level paladins will now hit more often, regardless of how far they stand from their target, as long as there is distance to it. This change has no impact for characters with a higher distance level.
HP and mana regeneration have been unified and increased compared to the current system; regeneration now always occurs and is higher when the character is not hungry.
Attack Animation
A new optional animation for melee weapons appears in the game window whenever an auto-attack is performed.
Reduction of the Weight of Gold Coins and Empty Potion Flasks
The weight of gold coins is reduced from 0.1 oz to 0.01 oz per coin.
Empty potion flasks now also weigh significantly less than before: the empty great potion flask from 180 to 135 oz, the empty strong potion flask from 160 to 100 oz, and the empty potion flask from 150 to 75 oz.
About Rookgaard
If you want to visit Rookgaard with an existing character, make sure to do so before the feature goes live. If your character dies after the release on Main, returning to Rookgaard will no longer be possible. In other words, players will no longer be able to "rook" their characters.
New characters will still get the possibility to travel to Rookgaard from the new starting area, but returning to Rookgaard after leaving it is no longer possible.
Related achievements have been modified to remain accessible to everyone. With release, the Berserker, Mastermind, and Sharpshooter potions, as well as the Jack to the Future quest, will become available to everyone. All vocations can use the potions (without effect) to earn the achievement, and players can replay the quest for the alternative achievement by paying a high fee of gold. More quests that previously required rooking to reset achievements will be available in the weeks after release.
At release, all characters present on Dawnport will be fully reset. Those who wish to retain their progress must depart from Dawnport in advance.
Detailed information on each of these changes and some other adjustments will be revealed in the second teaser next week. And just to clarify, this new feature is arriving separately in Tibia and is not connected to the winter update.
