Dear Tibians!
With today's server save, Newhaven opens its gates as Tibia's new entry point. Dawnport, as previously announced, has now been retired from the game.
We hope you enjoy the refreshed first steps in Tibia!
Furthermore, there are some balancing and monk vocation changes coming with today's patch.
Bounac
General adjustments
- The respawn time of regular lion units in the outer regions of the castle is now significantly longer. In addition, all regular usurper units will switch targets much more frequently but will mostly prioritise players who have already attacked them.
This reduces the impact of faction skirmishes between lion and usurper units on regular hunts.
- On the east coast of the bastion, the number of usurper units that vanish into the boss fight when the lever is pulled has been heavily reduced. For improved transparency, a text message will also notify players when this happens.
This adjustment ensures that hunting on the east coast and the boss fight remain more independent experiences, without one disrupting the other.
- Usurper raids now last longer and are announced by text messages in the affected areas.
This makes it clearer which areas are under attack and improves hunting efficiency by providing higher monster density for a longer duration.
- Several narrow passages in the maps have been broadened to allow smoother hunting.
- The monster density on the east coast and in the western part of the bastion has been increased, leading to a more efficient hunting cycle.
Usurper knight
- Increased physical sensitivity: 65 → 85
Hell Hub/Grounds
Grimeleech
- Reduced gold gain by 8%
Grimeleeches generated significantly more gold than comparable creatures. This adjustment brings them more in line with similar creatures.
Monk vocation adjustments
With two more months of data under our belt since the last adjustment, it is clear that solo monks are still outperforming other vocations. As a result, we have decided to reduce their damage slightly. This will be the last monk change before the bigger vocation patch, which is still a few months off, but will rearrange the playing field for all vocations.
We have made the following changes:
Adjustment of the attack values of all monk weapons
Weapons with an attack value of 35 or higher have had their attack reduced by 2. Weapons with an attack value below 35 have had their attack reduced by 1, except for those with less than 15 attack, which remain unchanged.
Changes to Harmony
- Harmony base bonus from 8% to 7%.
- Virtue of Harmony base bonus from 4% to 3% (8% to 6% in serene state)
Happy hunting,
