This 
year's winter update mainly focuses on improving existing features and systems in the game. Let us start off with daily rewards, Tibians. More than nine years after their implementation, some of them may no longer feel quite as rewarding as they once did. We think it is high time to change that and sweeten your daily login.
Most notably, a new type of reward will be available: Cosmetic Tokens.
Cosmetic Tokens are a special currency that can be used to purchase cosmetic items, such as outfits, mounts or house decorations, in the Store. One Cosmetic Token has the same value as one Tibia Coin. Cosmetic Tokens are character-bound, meaning they can only be used by the character that accumulated them.
Another improvement affects how daily reward XP boosts will interact with XP boosts bought in the Store: Instead of extending the duration, their percentage bonuses will stack while both boosts are active. So if you claim a daily reward XP boost of 50% which lasts for 30 minutes and also buy a Store XP boost of 50% which lasts for an hour, you will benefit from a 100% XP bonus for the 30 minutes both boosts are overlapping.
Your daily reward will also conveniently include the free daily Reroll Token for Bounty Tasks, so you will no longer have to claim it via the Bounty Board. Therefore, this option will be removed from the Bounty Board.
Now let us take a look at the new daily rewards that will replace the current ones. They can be claimed with a single click, since there are no longer different types of runes, potions or training weapons you need to select from.

| Day 7 | Free: 30 Minutes 20% XP Boost + 1 Bounty Reroll Token |
And there is more! Resting area bonuses for claiming your reward on a daily basis will now always be active for Premium players in resting areas, regardless of your reward streak. They are the new normal in resting areas, so to say. This means that you will always benefit from the following bonuses there:
- Hit Point Regeneration
- Mana Regeneration
- Stamina Regeneration
- +100% Hit Point Regeneration
- +100% Mana Regeneration
- Soul Point Regeneration
Free account players will always benefit from Hit Point and Mana Regeneration in resting areas.
So does this mean that building up your reward streak is no longer worthwhile? Quite the contrary: Each consecutive daily claim will increase your Weapon Proficiency XP bonus by 1%, up to a maximum of 7% from day 7 onwards. This bonus can be reached by Premium players as well as free accounts.
